I really love the movie Robocop. None of the sequels, television series, videogames or toys ever interested me, but Verhoeven's original film is just brilliant.

Robocop is awesome, and so is this piece.
(The third one's brilliantly awful, though. Worth having on in the background if you're doing something.)

me too, it hit me hard when i watched in the theater as a kid.
all that raw violence, the familiar yet distopyan future; leaving the movie and seeing it was all around me. i hope a remake is never made.

Seeing it in the cinema is a very happy memory for me too. The entire audience sat there stunned, while me and my cousin laughed like drains throughout.
But then, we both read 2000AD.
